TRILOK KUMAR Vashist2019-10-0411/12 Days trip of Slovenia and Croatia with Ivan I and my wife Nita planned a trip to Slovenia and Croatia in early 2018 but had to cancel it because of medical exigencies. In spite of doubts about health, we reprogrammed and executed in 2019. This would not have been possible without support from our super guide Ivan Juras, who agreed to and guided us through so many changes from original to final itinerary. We wanted to see what nature has so majestically and magnanimously bestowed to Slovenia and Croatia, and my oh my, did we! It was a wonderful 11 days journey (from Ljubljana, highland of Logarska Valley, Adriatic Coast with its beautiful islands and cites-Pag, Zadar, Split, Sibenik and of course Dubrovnik; made 12 days-thanks to Turkish Airways for that extra day in Dubrovnik), which we will remember and cherish for rest of our lives. We are so happy that we insisted and got Ivan as our guide. He is an amazing person with vast and intimate knowledge of Croatia which he dishes out you in short and strong doses, intermingled with personal knowledge stories and experience. We feel that we know quite a lot about these two fantastically beautiful countries past and future, knowing fully well that we will still not not meet Ivan expectations regarding what he told us about history, cathedral, churches, wars, peace and past heroes & leaders of Croatia.Thanks Ivan for lovely time spent and those interesting discussions on- world's problems solving, problems of and solution for current, our and old generations etc. etc. Thanks Friend for looking after us and bearing with our idiosyncrasies and oddities.

Firstly- Ivan made the difference between a trip and a lifetime memory- Thank you Ivan!Spent an amazing 6 days in Croatia driving along the coast roads only from Zagreb to Dubrovnik via Plitvice lakes, Sibenik, and Split. Stayed on slower scenic roads and avoided highways. Ivan took care of all logistics, tickets, terrific restaurants and of course all the sightseeing stops along the way- this made the trip incredibly relaxing. He is terrific company and very knowledgeable. He even met my odd request of stopping for a drink every hour on the road on the way to Dubrovnik!
Cathy M2019-02-05Wonderful Trip with Ivan We had a wonderful 15 day trip to Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Herzegovina & Montenegro with Ivan Juras. Ivan was an amazing guide showing us the best of these countries. He customized our trip to include the sites & types of accommodations we requested. Ivan was also flexible, when we requested a side trip he fitted it into our itinerary. He arranged many sumptuous meals with unique flavors of the regions. We visited caves, castles, markets, cathedrals & churches. We spent time in several UNESCO World Heritage sites had great wine & several varieties of Grapa Ivan was our guide, chauffeur & porter. He was so very knowledgeable about his country, answered all our question & we engaged in wonderful discussions about many different topics. Ivan has a great sense of humor and we enjoyed kidding and joking with one another throughout our trip. We couldn't ask for a better guide or new friend.
orioncruiser2019-02-0514 day visit to Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Montenegro Ivan planned and led us on a 14 day experience where we visited the highlights of the Dalmatian Coast. He was our driver and guide. His comments provided a good background for the sites, attractions, and cities we saw. We learned history and some facts. Ivan insured that the food, drink, grappa etc. we consumed was delicious. The meals and drinks included in our travel package were outstanding and a real treat sometimes sitting down with locals. Our accommodations were comfortable and met our needs. Ivan shared his own story with us and we felt a bond with his family that made us feel comfortable in the places we visited.
aghosh22019-01-185 day Best of Croatia personal guided tour: Strongly recommend Ivan from CroStory We had a fantastic tour of Zagreb, Plitvice, Split, Trogir and Dubrovnik. Having Ivan as personal guide who drove us all through was just great. We could pack in so much and yet have the right amount of free time to explore without the rush of a typical tour operator. It was a very hassle-free way of seeing the country from the time we landed at Zagreb, till we departed from Dubrovnik. We go to know so much about the country and had personalized guidance on food, history, photographs along the way. The drive along the Dalmatian coast was wonderful and we could pretty much do it at leisure, stopping on the way to enjoy the sights. He took care of everything including hotels. My wife left her backpack in the hotel at Zagreb, and Ivan organized for it to be delivered to us on time at Split!. It was our best personalised guided tour. Recommend CroStory and Ivan any day. Croatia is a beautiful country, not yet ravaged by tourists, and very friendly people.

ENCORE!!We visited Croatia in October of 2015 and had a fabulous trip, Ivan was our guide and we couldn't have asked for more --- BE SURE to look back at those reviews ( 2 on 10/27/17, 1 on 1/31/15 and 1 on 11/12/15) for many details!!So when we were heading back again this year, we contacted Ivan and once again we were not disappointed. Our trip this year was briefer, and we had some friends with us who had never been -- so we were excited to show them the beauty of the country, warmth of the people as well as introduce them to the history, food, wine and more!Ivan planned a wonderful tour and worked hard to accommodate our needs. His availability, enthusiasm and knowledge were once again top notch...and he worked hard to give us a very personal and extremely memorable experience of Croatia. The country...as I encourage you to read about in our previous reviews..is one of the most lovely that we have ever visited. We can't recommend it highly enough. And Ivan did not disappoint us- he lived up to his previous outstanding tour guide performance and then some!! He found ways to add in new and personal touches. He remains engaging, resourceful and open...and never tires of sharing his knowledge and his love for his country with others. I urge you to go to Croatia, and do yourself a favor to hire Ivan as your guide!!

My family and I went on a recent trip last October, 2017 to Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina & Montenegro. We had the most amazing time of our lives. From the planning stage with Ivan to our tour guide Josip, we couldn't have asked for a better trip. Ivan was so helpful and attentive in helping us plan our vacation. He quickly responded to e-mails and made really great suggestions. There were many travel agencies we looked at, but CroStory with Ivan at the helm was really the best choice. His prices are reasonable and he was very flexible with accommodating our needs. It's quite obvious that Ivan truly cares about his clients. He really tries to ensure that you are satisfied and will have the best vacation. Our family travels a lot & it's important that we have a tour guide that we click with. Our tour guide/driver for 13 days of our trip was Josip T. He was so much fun. He's got a great sense of humor and we were all constantly laughing and telling stories. We were never bored with Josip. He's a great driver and is very familiar with all the places we went to. He's also quite knowledgeable. Josip did a great job at explaining the history of each place we visited. Every place we went to was beautiful and many of the sites were breath taking. Each country we visited had a wonderful charm and fantastic food. However, what really made this trip for us was Josip. He really is a great guy who has a big heart. He's also very patient! When you have seven different personalities traveling in a van for thirteen days, it's easy to get annoyed. Josip never showed any annoyance. He was so cool and was always very accommodating to our various suggestions. For those of you who have never gone to this part of the world, I highly suggest you book your vacation with CroStory. You won't regret it and you will have the time of your life. Ivan and Josip are now part of our family and we plan to stay in touch with them in the future.
Jason Wong2017-11-1311 days Croatia / Bosnia Herzegovina / Montenegro / Slovenia Ivan managed to assist us to squeeze so many places in Croatia (including Istria) and spans Bosnia, Montenegro, Slovenia within a short span of 11 days. Though it was a tough itinerary, Ivan still managed to give us a daily surprise which were not included in our itinerary, which kept us excited everyday. The surprises included unique dining experiences and beautiful non-touristy locations off-the-beaten track. Ivan is well-versed with the history and cultural heritage of his home country - Croatia & he is accomodative to most requests and easy going. Apart from the leaky van with faulty air-conditioning, the trip was interesting we all gained a lot of insights to these countries. 101Heather1012017-07-21An Incredible 11 Day Tour of Croatia with an Amazing Guide Ivan! We have just completed a wonderful 11-day tour of Croatia with our amazing guide and driver, Ivan. He was a wealth of information about so many things in Croatia. He covered history, politics, the economy, geography, cuisine and everyday life in Croatia. Ivan went over and above with every aspect and took such good care of us. He was so easy to be with and gave us our own time to explore as well. He took us to hidden beaches and historic sites that are off the beaten path which made it very special. On the tour, we visited Dubrovnik, Budva & Kotor in Montenegro, Pelješac Peninsula (wine region), Korčula (our favourite island), Hvar, Split, Krka National Park and Šibenik along with other small towns along the coast. The climate was perfect every day, our accommodations were beautiful and we had several incredible meals. We were very impressed with Croatia and Ivan and strongly recommend doing a tour with him. We plan to return in the near future.
